Michael Owen is the creator and lead artist of the Baltimore Love Project. After living in Seattle, Cleveland and Orlando, Michael moved to Baltimore to attend Maryland Institute College of Art. Since receiving his BFA in 2004, Michael has been painting all around the United States, utilizing galleries as well as the streets, including one of the world’s longest murals at 1/4 mile in length. Scott Burkholder is the Executive Director of the baltimore Love Project. Scott grew up in Minnesota and came to Baltimore to attend Johns Hopkins University. He graduated from Hopkins with two engineering degrees. His analytical mind and entrepreneurial spirit are put to good use doing the business side of the project. His love for Baltimore has brewed for over 10 years. He resides in Baltimore’s Fells Point with his wife, Jennifer.
David Nohe, a Baltimore native, is the newest member of the BLP team, handling all the merchandise. He and his wife, Carolyn, live in the Hampden neighborhood a few blocks from mural #9. By the end of 2012, David is expecting the birth of his first child and to graduate from the University of Maryland School of Law.
